Classic Tack Cloth

My husband is picky when it comes to cleaning tools. He  is so familiar about certain type of fabric that might be or might not be good for cleaning to a certain surface especially when it comes to his tools and truck. He tried using the tack kleen classic tack cloth and he's quite impressed. It quickly removes dust from metal and wood surfaces. As shown in the video, my husband demonstrated how to to use the tack cloth, you can tell how convenient it is to use it. And he wanted to get more so he can use use it at work. He's an engine operator and he knows how important it is to obtain a blemish free finish.

Back To School Night

Yesterday was the Back to School Night at Bess Maxwell. It was my first time to seriously join activities at Bess Maxwell because I'm curious about the activities inside Stephanie's classroom. Last year with Bianca, I went to but I wasn't as excited as yesterday. It was stressful at first though because Sophie was so uneasy and she was crying.Good thing the lunch lady gave her an apple so it kinda mellows her down.So I was able to sit down along with other parents at Stephanie's room while her teacher was explaining her outline of activities for the kindergartners. After which,we went to Bianca's room. I introduced myself to her teacher. She's a nice lady. Then we went to the Multi purpose room to get a balloon from the Dollar Dog booth. The kids got to eat free pizzas too. All in all, it gave me a sense of satisfaction being able to involve myself in my kids' academic life.

Slow To Anger

According to a passage in the Bible, "A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly." Unfortunately I am a quick tempered person. BUT lately I had practiced how to control myself. And it feels good. I know it's hard resisting putting someone in her shoes when she's on your nerves already most importantly that you have done nothing wrong. I'm so close in confronting this person yesterday but I realized it will do no good. To my surprised, this person called me and acted as if nothing happen. I was so relieved. We all have our moments. I realized that it is very important to think twice before we decide something important. I praise God for guiding my thoughts and actions.

Hair Problem

So far, ever since the school day started I haven't had any major problems in preparing the kids for school. I'm thankful because they're always excited. My two girls go to school at 7:10 AM. They woke at 6:30. After getting dresses and brushing their teeth, it's my turn to brush their hair. I don't have problem with my daughter's hair because it's fine and smooth. I have problem with Bianca's hair because it's thick and coarse. It has a lot of dead hair too. I feel bad for her because she wanted a certain hairstyle but it's just hard for me to do it. She used to have her braided very neatly before, when she was still living with her mom's ex boyfriend. What they do is they braid her hair while it's still wet and put a lot of hair spray on it to keep it on place. I can't do the same. Personally, I don't think it's good for her hair.  I'm not sure but it's probably the reason she has a dull hair. Our hair is important, it's one of our crowning jewels. People who have hair problems use hair loss shampoo hoping to give more volume to their losing hair. That's why as a mom, I take full responsibility in the health of my children and in the whole aspects of their body. A healthy child from head to toe is a happy child.

Again? At 3AM?

I can't believe that I woke up at 3AM again. It's like a routine already. My youngest cried so I put her back to sleep and I can't sleep. I'm wide awake. It's not everyday though. It's almost like every other day. I noticed that it happened when I go to sleep anxious to wake in the morning to finish some tasks. I just bought some beauty supplies for a friend of mine who's celebrating her birthday on the 2nd of birthday. I realized that I need to buy it as soon as possible or else it won't be here before the party. I can't buy them on our department store here because she works there. After I paid my purchased my eyes hurts. It's not because I used my credit card again :-) but it's the brightness of my laptop's monitor. Besides as we grow older, our eyes changes too. I thought I noticed some lines in my eyelids, it's probably the right time to start using the best eye wrinkle cream. One important tip that was advised to me by a beauty specialist is always use a eye makeup remover because our eyes are sensitive and we will only use the most gentle cleanser we can ever find. I totally agree.

Party Everywhere

I just realized that every weekend we're always going to parties. Me and my kids are always invited to birthday parties, events and gatherings. It's hard to say no because these people never fail to come to my parties too. Besides they're all nice to us and they are my friends that are dear to me. Actually, I enjoy going to parties as long as it's a children's party. It's just that these past few weeks I noticed that I gained my weight back. My friends said that I look just fine but they know that I tried so hard to hide my tummy. I work on getting rid of belly fat because this is my main concern. Having three babies in six years made my tummy stretch so big. But I'm optimistic that one day I will be in shape again.

Growing Like A Weed

She's my baby Sophie, she's growing like a weed. Time flies so fast. Her developments are so spontaneous and keep on surprising me.  When I look at her, I couldn't thank God enough. I love all my children but she's the angel that can sweep all my stress in an instant. Her brother and sister are going to school already. They're both amazing. But they are challenging sometimes. And my Sophia, she's the one who can melt my anger away. Thank you God. Thank you so much. I don't know what have I done for giving me these perfect blessings. I'm so grateful Lord that I will promise to raise them with faith in their hearts.

Living Life To The Fullest

I'm excited for my friend for having his new Dukati motorcycle. It looks so cool  with its red color. He bought himself a $400 jacket and two helmets for him and his girlfriend. This is his treat for himself. For all the ordeals that he had been through he deserve this. Last year he got into car accident.Good thing he was no badly hurt but still the insurance company got him covered. They give him a fair settlement money. It is really important that we are insured. It's worth it. Look for online insurance quotes and you can find the premiums that will suit your needs. Let's live our life to the fullest and let's secure ourselves to the best.

Be Cautious

I'm so worried because my sister have a  severe reaction for something. She don't know what caused her rashes. They're itchy and big bumps spread all over her body. When she took a medicine , she got a high fever. She felt that her body has allergic reaction with the medicine too.Poor sissy I wish I was there for her. It's really important that we read the labels of anything that we take into our body because we are not sure how our body can adjust to it. Most especially to women who are figure conscious who used pills to maintain their body size. Let's make a research for which diet pills work best and read carefully the ingredients. It's better to be safe than sorry. :-)

Home Sweet Home

I realized that now as the kids are growing up,we can't help but  let them explore the world. It's as if it it was just yesterday when I give birth to my son but now he's in the preschool already and my daughter is in kindergarten. They will met different kinds of people of different characters. Whatever they met outside the home is out of my control already. They will probably have bad days and good days but what I can do is providing them a nice home. A home that will give them peace of mind after a long day at school. That's why even though I'm so busy, I make sure that our house is cleaned and organized before the kids and my husband got home. Our home is just simple. We don't have a lot of accessories. Me and my husband prefer a simple setting in our house. That's why we choose earth toned colors in our furniture, from our contemporary coffee tables, dining table, side table and bedroom sets. The ambiance in our house is so laid back and comfortable. I would love to get this  corner sofa from BoConcepts. It looks so simple yet refined. This will add elegance to our living room. This will be perfect when my family will watched TV together. This is completely perfect for our home sweet home.

Flowers From the Heart

I'm glad that I have Proflowers coupons. I need to send flowers to my friend who got into a car accident last August 25. I wish I can visit her but she's hundreds of miles away.So sending her flowers is my best option. Her whole family and friends are so thankful to God for saving her because that accident could be worst if they fall into the ravine. What happen was, they're driving downhill and the car's break failed that's why the driver choose to hit the car on a big tree or else they could fall into the deep ravine. It's a miracle for them to survived. My friend broke her two legs and her pelvic. They said she might not be able to walk again. But after the success of her operation she's already walking now. God is so good.

Covert Affairs

It's the season finale of Covert Affairs that's why I'm staying up late. This is one of the shows in USA Network that I really followed even though this is only next to NCIS as my favorite. I love the character of Annie Walker. It's the kind of personality I wish I have. She's smart, skilled and beautiful. Auggie on the other hand is one of my favorite character too. He's a computer whiz and very impressive. Today's episode is the conclusion of the first season. Even though Ben Mercir, Annie's ex-boyfriend was shot, I still think that this episode is worth watching. I wonder if he really died on the next season though. I hope not because I love their chemistry together. I'm giving Covert Affairs a 5 star rating.

For My Babies

I am a stay at home mom. I don't have a permanent income. I'm just basically dependent on my husband's salary. Even though I still bought myself a no medical exam life insurance. It's something that will give me a peace of mind when it comes to my children's financial future. It's just a small amount for my self satisfaction.Parenthood had taught me how to become selfless, to think less about myself and think more for the future of the most important people in my life. When I got a job already, I will buy more life insurance. This is just for their financial security just in case I'm gone. Of course, I want to live longer because I want to be there for them whenever they need help. I have a huge dreams for them. But we never know when our time will come. It's better that we're always prepared.

Almost a Disaster

Thinking about happened on my children's first day of school, made me embarrassed of myself. My over excitement almost messed up the whole day. I'm just anxious because my eldest is going to kindergarten and my son is going to Preschool the first time. We woke at around 6 in the morning. Steph and B were so excited that they were ready ahead of time. They want to eat breakfast at school. So while we are getting ready to head out, I decided that we will just walk because we are only a mile away from the school. We were halfway through to the school, I realized that we're late for breakfast. It's too late to go back to the house too. The kids just want to go to the school. B ate her snacks but Stephanie didn't because she's not hungry. I feel so guilty. But I went to their school on their lunch to make sure they've eaten. Next time I will just have to calm down. I got too far with my excitement sometimes.

Additional Security for My Peace of Mind

Finally, my husband replace our lock in the master's bedroom with a deadbolt lock. I've been asking for him about it for months. He was too busy at work and I'm just too happy that he was able to do it last Tuesday. Now, I feel more comfortable inviting people in the house. It's not that I don't trust them. I trust my friends but there's other people who visit our adopted kid who has a history of stealing stuffs that's why I have a hard time trusting them. Before they will just go to my room without asking permission. It pisses me off. Now, when they're here. I will just lock it and I don't have to worry about my stuffs. Another thing also, my husband is always out of town because of his job. Having this kind of lock in house gives me peace of mind because I know it's secured and durable.
