Personal Loan

A good rule of the thumb according to financial advisers, always put some money in the savings that will cover a whole three month of expenses. They said no matter what happen always save, save and save. It is easy to say that but for some people whose just living from paycheck to paycheck this seems very impossible for them. Like what happen to a friend of mine who was laid off. She was working in the state, and then when the state was in crises, they decided to lay-off employees. This caught her off guard. She was so upset. She has to moved to another place because she can't afford to pay the rent. She has to eliminate some expenses. Her problem right now is to find money to pay for advance payment and deposit for the rent. She's going to apply for Payday Loans at personalloansleader.com because they offer fast applications for any credit type. This will help her back on track. Not only that you can also apply a Personal Loan from without worrying about the collateral. So this will help someone to access cash in an emergency financial crises.

Liquids and Rests

A friend of mine invited me for her birthday party this coming Sunday at 3:00PM. But I'm afraid that I can't go because my son is not feeling well again. This is the third time that I turned down party invitations. And some of them already thought that I'm making up excuses. But who is in their right would make an excuse like that? Who wants to have their children sick? But I think they're just trying to make a joke.

But anyways, I really feel bad because my daughter and son got colds again. They got it from their dad actually. My friends suggested several medications for them but honestly every time my children got colds, I rarely give them medications.Because according to some studies, decongestants and cough medicines aren't very effective in reducing symptoms or illness time. Antibiotics aren't necessary for an uncomplicated cold and may even set up a child for infections with resistant bacteria later on.
The best solution:
LIQUIDS AND RESTS

Being Prepared

My husband is a firefighter. Every now and again during summer time he's not home. He's on a fire assignment some place in United States or Canada. We were always emotional everytime he leave. I always help him prepare his red bag or also called personal gear bag. I make sure that he has a Surefire LED Flashlight because it's better and brighter than standard flashlights. It kinda give me peace of mind if he has all the things that will help him in times of emergency.

Our Little Cruiser

My son started walking when he was 11 months old. What is funny ( frustrating )though because I wasn't able to capture his first steps in a video. But this pictures here were taken by his sister steph while she was playing with my camera and luckily she was able to take good pictures of her brother walking.

Be Fabulous, Wear Fabulous

Even if we, mommies always have a handful and stress sometimes , we still have the right to be fabulous. Start it by taking care of your skin specially your face. Always remember to clean , tone and moisturize it. And of course always wear a light mineral make-up during the day because I tell you those interrupted sleeps will make us look haggard sometimes. Next is, don't forget to dress properly, sexy and fabulously. Try wearing baby phat jeans. They will really bring out the best in your curve. And of course, not but not the least keep smiling. A smile always bring sunshine in your face.

Just for Kicks

Last night at 8:30 P.M. me and my friend decided to drive around here in our place. It's one of those things that we gave ourselves a break from our children, at least for 30 minutes. It's kinda nice, just cruising without the whining, screaming and crying of bored kiddos. But for the record this doesn't happen most of the time. My children are behave. And I admit that I'm a conceited mom :-). Anyways, last night we decided to drive in this place where there's an isolated building that known to be haunted. It's near by the beach. When we there, the place is so quiet. I was okay till my friend told me that we're in the middle of a burial place. Men, I could hear my heart pounding. That was a tripper.!

My Cell Phone Need to be Pampered

One time my friend misplaced her Cell phone charger, so she was calling her girlfriends if she can borrow their charger, but unfortunately their chargers are not compatible with her phone. She was so downed the whole day.But she was saved by my husband because it turned out that he has the same charger as her. My point is, some people are already so attached to their mobile phones that they feel so lost if something happen to it. I have my phone for over a year now, and I'm thinking f buying a new one but I kinda like the features of my current phone because it has an SD Card with 2 mega pixel camera. That's why I just decided to enhance it by buying cell phone accessories from SF Planet. Why from them? Because they have a 30 days money back guarantee and fast shipping because I can't wait to pamper my cutest cell phone.

A Safety Precaution about Botled Water

My friend Jenny forwarded me a message about about a bottled left in the car. It kinda alarmed me because my husband usually leave bottled water in his truck and drink them afterwards. According to them drinking a bottled water that been left in the car can cause Cancer ( Breast Cancer). The explanation : The heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. The heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak in the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue.
So now if some of you are no aware yet please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car anymore! Or better yet us ea stainless steel Canteen or a glass bottle when you can!!!

Oppss I need a Break

As a full time homemaker, my day just will just goes by so quickly. It's as if I just woke up and then I have to prepare dinner. Me and my husband wake up at 6:00 AM . He makes coffee while I prepare our children's breakfast. Then I clean the living room and make the bed right after hubby leave for work. By the time I'm done I have to prepare our lunch. After lunch, I cleaned up the kitchen. Then we will go out for our afternoon activities such as swimming, strolling etc. In between those activities is my non-stop picking up the mess of my kiddos. Whew!!I need help here. It's about time to look for a reliable maid services. I knew where to find them. At MaidPro!They offer a professional housecleaning services. With them, I will never be disappointed.

An Hour with Family

While I was bloghopping, I was touched by a post of a kind hearted man who blog about the importance of a family. His name is Ely.

With his permission I copied and posted it here.

******************************************

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son which waiting for him at the door.

Son : "Daddy, may I ask you a question"

Daddy : "Yeah sure, what it is?"

Son : "Dad, how much do you make an hour?"

Daddy : "That's none of your business, andwhy do you ask such a thing?" (daddy said with angrily).

Son : "I just want to know. Please tell me,how much do you make for an hour?"

Daddy : "I make Rs. 500 an hour"

Son : "Oh" (the little boy replied, with his head down)

Daddy : "Looking up"

Son : "Dad, may I please borrow Rs. 300?"

The father was furious, and said :If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some

money to buy a silly toy or other nonsense, then march yourself to your room and go to bed. Think why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behaviour.

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started getting even angrier about the little boy's questions.

He mumble :"How dare he ask such questions only to get some money"

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: "May be there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.300. He really didn't ask for money very often!

"The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened it.

"Are you asleep, son?" he asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, may be I was too hard on you earlier",

said the man. "It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.300 you asked for".

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.

"Oh thank you dad !", he yelled, then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled some crippled up notes.

The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at his father.

Daddy : "Why do you want money if you already had some?"

Son : "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do"

"Daddy... I have Rs. 500 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?"

"Please come home early tomorrow" "I would like to have dinner with you"

---->It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. If we "go" someday, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But...the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family. An unwise investment indeed !

Did you know what's the full word of FAMILY?

FAMILY = Father And Mother I Love You.

To Sir Ely, thanks so much for sharing this..

Preparing for the Holidays

They said as soon as the month end in "ber" that's the beginning of the Holiday season. How time flies so fast. Holiday season is coming. What I love about the holiday season is the gift giving. Most of my loved ones are in the Philippines that's why as early as today I'm starting to buy presents for my friends and family and I stock them up in a 24X24X24 Balikbayan Box. This time I'm going to make sure that I will not miss to give anybody because last year some of my cousins were upset because they haven't got something from me. I'm just close to everyone of them that's why no matter how small it is as long as it came from me, it makes them happy already. But I love doing these.
So where will I begin with my gift lists? Of course I should have something for my dearest parents. I'm keeping an eye with any walmart ad I received in my email because most of the times they have the best deals as in bedding and kitchen accessories. I wanted to get the highest thread count for my mom's bed sheet. Why not?She always deserve the best. Oh I'm glad that I can find the tools in Home Depot at lowest prices. Like for example, a DeWalt 42-Piece Drilling and Driving Set is only $10.00.
I'm just thankful that the Black Friday is before Christmas. That's the time that I buy 75% of my gift lists. During the Black Friday sale ( after Thanksgiving sale), you can really save as much as 80% ( no kidding). I'm even thinking of buying another TV at Circuit City.
Preparing for the holidays today is never too early. Start it with the list of the people you wish to give and what to give for them and also try to check iblackfriday.com to know the list of products on sale during the after Thanksgiving sale.

Travel Advisory

I recieved this info from my Mabuhay Miles Newsletter. I find this informative so I might as well share it with you guys because looks like everybodys going on a vacation this time of year.

***********************************************

50 POUNDS OR 23 KILOS LIMIT PER PIECE OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE TO AND FROM USA (INCLUDING GUAM) AND CANADA
· _
Following the lead of most airlines flying trans-Pacific routes, Philippine Airlines will start implementing for all tickets issued or re-issued starting 01 July 2008 a limit of 50 pounds (23 kilos) for each of the two pieces of free baggage on flights to and from the United States, including Guam and Canada. The Civil Aeronautics Board approved the reduction of the baggage allowance last 12 June 2008.

Tickets issued before 01 July 2008- but for travel from 01 July 2008 onward - still entitle passenger to the erstwhile free baggage weight limit of 70 pounds (32 kilos) per piece.

PAL is constrained to take this step as a consequence of record-high fuel prices that have adversely impacted the airline industry worldwide. The International Air Transport Association has forecast a massive global industry lost of $6.1 billion for 2008. In response, most major carriers have reduced free baggage allowance or imposed new fees for checked baggage as a way of easing operational cost.

The 50-pound limit allows smoother connections for PAL passengers traveling to and from interior points in the U.S. and Canada, where domestic flights have already applied the new weight cap. Also, most U.S. carriers have limited free checked baggage allowance to only one piece, while some have eliminated it altogether, charging $15 for the first checked bag and $25 for the second.

Business is a Smarter Option

Our expenses besides the basic needs includes out of town trips whenever hubby has a day off, my brother and sister's tuition ( both in College now), house maintenance, parties during family member's special occasions..and so and so forth. How we meddle through these with only one income. I don't work so we're just dependent on my dearest husband's average salary. I don't work because my husband don't want to leave the children in the babysitters. When the children start going to school, I will go back to school too. But for the meantime, while being a SAHM ( Stay at Home Mom), I'm thinking of putting up my own business. I believe that if I just have a working capital, I can establish a good business. Putting up a business is a smart option. My parents were able to support my College tuition through their retail store. So I think I can do it too. My first step is get a small business loan from Merchant Advisors. They have flexible funding options at a lowest rate. I have a friend who started a home care business a couple of years ago, now she's earning big bucks already. I think starting a business is a risk to take, but it's a risk worth trying for. I'm trying to figure which business I'm good at though. I'm thinking of selling US made products and sell it to the Philippines. My cousins was bugging me about this. The plan is we're going to rent a place in the mall and then sell US goods there like shoes, leather purses etc.. My cousin said it's a sure thing. I might go for that. And another is catering. My mom used to do that and she was able to earned money from that. There are so many options. All I just need is a capital. I will get it from Merchant advisors. They have been financing businesses for more than 20 years now. The thing that I like from them is that you will get an approval in 24 hours, unlike traditional financing that it will take forever before you know how much money you're allowed to loan. With them, no closing costs, no points, no application fees and it doesn't show as a debt in the credit report. So starting a business is not hard at all. You got Merchant Advisors to help you. They can be reach at 1-800-427-1450.

Turning One is Lots of Fun

My son just turned One last July 4. Oh he's a 4th of July baby!! I remember the day when I was about to deliver him, that was the 3rd of July, I started having contractions at early afternoon, and I was hoping that it was just a false contractions because I want to deliver him on the 7th (his due date), that's suppossed to be a lucky one 07-07-07, but my contractions are going strong that we have to rush to the hospital. My friends who wants to be there for me went with us. Jovi and Jenny. I started having a painful labor at about 7pm. I'm worried that I might deliver him on the 3rd. If he can't be a 7-7-7 baby,4th of July is even better. So yeah, I had him on the 4th of July, with all the fireworks and evrything.

What's your Shopping Plans?

Are you an impulse shopper?Do you shop till you drop? I used to be one, till I grew up:-). Seriously, before ,every time I received coupons in the mail or in my inbox, I immediately take advantage of them but I end up not using some of the stuffs I bought. I also have these crazy obsession with branded products, when I saw them on discounted price, I rarely miss in buying them. I remember my Black Friday Experience last year , it was totally fun. I woke up early, went to the mall at 3am ( no kidding ). I did bought a lot of stuffs at very low prices. I save more $2,000. But I end being sick after my shopping. I thought I will passed out in the mall. I was the only one shopping because my husband was with our children. But this year will be different. I will change my shopping plans. This year I will skip falling in line in the mall, I will avoid the traffic. And I will absolutely avoid being sick this time. The solution? Online shopping!!Yeah, why not? By keeping an eye on 2008 thanksgiving specials online, I can still find the best deals. My favorite stores like, Sears (where I can find the best deal in diamond jewelries), Old Navy for my children's clothing, and many more. These stores offer free shipping too.So I think my shopping plan for this year is a lot smarter and wiser. So what's your shopping plans?

Going Back to the Old Times

When I joined blog sites for mommies like the Mom Bloggers Club, I read stuffs like utilizing organics for our children which is a good thing. I was more curious about a couple of testimonies from several about using cloth diapers for babies.
And boy! I feel sorry why I haven't done this with my first child, and it's never too late. So I started using cloth diapers for my son. They are kinda spendy but when you compare with using disposable diapers, you actually save more money. If I'm not mistaken, using cloth diapers is one of the old times, you know it's what our grandparents and parents used before disposable diapers were "invented" Going back to the old times is all worth it. The best for the babies I should say.

So I bought Kushies - Reusable Ultra Diapers as my first try. It's not bad at all. I like it because
they're eco-friendly soft and comfy diapers and have five layers of flannel plus a special middle soaker layer for increased absorbency and a waterproof exterior so that no diaper cover is required! More importantly they do not contain chemical agents found in disposables, so only 100% premium cotton flannel touches your baby's skin. It has an adjustable hook and loop closure system for a snug fit.

But I'm still shopping around for cheaper ones. If you guys are also using cloth diapers and have an idea where we can find a good deal and a good buy, I would greatly appreciated it if you give me some tips. Thank you.

Stress Free Travel

Do you love to travel around the world?Who doesn't? I always love to explore different places in the world. It's my biggest dream that slowly coming true. My favorite destinations would be France because I want see the to the Eiffel tower and visit my friend Amor, then Rome, Italy and so on , I have a long list actually.
When travelling, it should be fun, stress free and relaxing. But factors such as transportation, amenities and weather can sometimes add stress if the travel is not well planned. Let's start from the transportation. It's smarter that you have to book a car hire ahead of time. For example if you visit Portugal , get a portugal car hire in that way, you won't be stress out in looking for a cab . When you lease a car, you're kinda on your own, driving around and enjoying each beautiful scenery that you passed by.

You can find the cheapest car hire through the carhiredirect.co.uk. Car Hire Direct searches up to 40 car rental companies. You are guaranteed to find the cheapest car hire online. I wish I learned about this site 3 years ago when we went on a family vacation. We weren't able to find the best and cheapest transportation because we don't have enough time calling the car rentals company. Through Car Hire Direct you can search for the rental rates of any type vehicle whether is a hybrid, SUV, luxury car, or even just a compact one in seconds. Through Car Hire Direct you save money, time and effort.

Thank Heaven for Friends

Life is like a wheel, sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down. You will know who your true friends are when you are truly down. One time, I was in a situation where I'm having a problem with one of my best friends here in our place. It's a miscommunication that's supposed to be just between me and her. But since according to many people, they cannot just watched us losing our beautiful friendship together that's why they have to jump in and try to patch us up. Yes they succeed because I swallowed my pride and make amends but it does put a severe pain in my heart. Because who people who doesn't know and just listen on the other side of the story, judge me. There's this very religious lady said, that she prayed for me every night and the other guy said, they all pray for me because Satan is overpowering me already ( and my horns are long already, it has to be cut). I believed it's a joke. But I was hurt. Because they don't know the whole story, they don't know because I didn't tell them, because it's just between me and my friend..but please don't ever tell me about that Sa**n, because there's no way he will ever have a part in my life, I may not go to church every Sunday but I love God.
The blessings that I gain from all of these,my friends. I received cards, and gifts from them. They stop by at my house, without saying a lot of things, but I know they care about me. They don't talked about what happened, just by being there, checking on me, making sure my family is fine make me feel that I'm a good person after all. You see, you don't really have to tell and explain to everyone that you're the one whose right or wrong, they will know. Good friends will know.
..and for the record me and my bestfriend are bestfriends again..we laugh about those people who are "balimbing"..

To my friend Celly and everyone, thank you for being there for me.

Sesame Street Bath Time Bumper & Bath Mat

Now that my kids are into the stage where they want to have a bubble bath almost everyday, I have to get something that protect them from bumping their heads in the bath tub. That's why I bought a Sesame Bath Time Bumper from Walmart with a Bath Mat. Steph and Eric were delighted with characters from the Sesame Street. But I don't the suction cups because they don't stay on the sides very well, although it doesn't bother my kids at all. They just push it back to the sides. I like the bath mat because it prevents them from sliding so I'm happy with that. Overall, I wish it could be a lil bit cheaper.

Meet the Princess In Her Barbie Dress

In our happy home she is the princess, Dad is the King, mom the Queen and her brother Eric is the prince. But only her wears her royal dresses most of the time. She has a dress in royal blue when she's pretending to be Cinderella, she has dresses when she's Belle, Snow White and Ariel. She has all these princess dolls in her room and talked to them once in awhile with their matching ponies. ( I will take a picture of that, it's amazing how she arranged them).
But she has the latest gig now, and that's being a ballerina. We have this DVD that features ballet dancing played in our front room, most of the time. And she's watching it over and over again. I'll be so glad and I'm sure she will too if I'm able to get a Swan Lake DVD at PrimaPrincessa which is part of Mamalicious finds Giveaways. And then I will buy her a nice Tutu too. Well she's the princess, so she deserves it. Besides her acting like a princess too, behave, loving and fun.

Be Debt Free

We are just an average family. Financially, we only have one source of income, and that's from my husband's job. I wanted to look for a job but we realized that it's better that I just have to stay home until the children started going to school. They grow so fast so I don't want to miss their younger years and besides the cost of daycare is ridiculously high. But financially we're doing good because we're just living within our means. We don't buy what we can't afford. I know some people has debts bigger than their assets. Some factors like medical bills can contribute to this or abusive use of credit cards. Just a couple of months ago, my friend from the other state called and said she might apply for bankruptcy because she has a huge debt already and it's continously filing up because of the interest. This happened because if you have a lot of bills, unpaid credit card and late payments, these will make your credit score and thus make your Annual Percentage Rate. It's hard for me to see people suffering from financial crises. They can settle their debt by looking a Credit card debt help  and start living a debt free life.

Going to Disneyland

It seems like every body's going to Disneyland this summer except us. With my husband's job making him occupied during summer, almost don't have a day off makes it impossible for us to have a vacation during Summer. I think it's ridiculous going on vacation without him. Good thing that our children are still very young, going to theme parks is not a big deal for them yet but when they turned 5 y.0 or more, that's the time we should on trips and vacations, by that time Lee will be available, in fact I'm keeping my fingers crossed, we might be blessed with a sudden change in his career that might change our lives in some aspects but if it's happening or not, still we'll be good, very very good.

Miss Potty Trained

Cheers to my daughter Stephanie, she's completely potty trained before she turned 3. Actually the potty training process with her is quite a long way. She started when she just turned 2 last September of last year. But it's on and off. It's funny because there's a time that she wears panties, but when when she's about to pee or p**p, she will immediately wear her potty training pants. And there's a time also that she just switch back to training pants because of the Dora or Princess design in it. But no matter what, yahoo! finally, it's like I won a million dollar. I couldn't forget that first moment she she started to pee on her own, she called me, and showed me her pee , and then when I saw it, she immediately flushed it, washed her hands and wipe them. Oh men, I overreacted. We ( with Eric) indulge ourselves with ice cream to our hearts content . She deserved some sugar sometimes :-).
